About the company

Founded in 2012, Printi is a Brazilian online printing company, with about 60% market share in the e-commerce printing market. In 2020, it was acquired by Cimpress and has since been part of the global group present in more than 20 countries. Its portfolio includes everything from paper materials to promotional items, banners, and sublimation products, acting like many printing companies in one. With one of the largest printing parks in the country, the company stands out for its quality control at all stages of production, ensuring high standards and fair prices for customers.

Problem identified

In October 2024, Printi faced significant challenges during the rebranding and restructuring of its e-commerce, initially led by another third-party provider. The project presented inconsistencies that culminated in a troubled launch, marked by various bugs that compromised the shopping experience and, in many cases, prevented the completion of orders. As a result, the company began to deal with a wave of customer dissatisfaction, reflected in negative comments on social media and a significant increase in complaints on Reclame Aqui.

Implemented solution

After the hiring, BossaBox allocated a squad to work together with the Printi team on recovering the e-commerce in about 15 days, due to the need to select highly specialized professionals in e-commerce. The group took on the mission of reviewing the codes and restoring the platform's stability. In approximately one month, the team was able to mitigate the main bugs and, by around March (two to three months after the partnership began), the e-commerce was already showing stable performance.

One of the differentiators of this project was the hiring model adopted: the formation of a mixed squad, uniting Prolancers from BossaBox and collaborators from Printi itself. This choice was made due to the complexity of the operation and the need for professionals who mastered the end-to-end processes. Although the format brought initial challenges, such as the integration between teams and the care not to create insecurity among internal professionals, the initiative proved to be extremely successful. After 10 months of partnership, the model continues to function efficiently, with the internalization of some Prolancers who were part of the squad.



Results

The results of the partnership between Printi and BossaBox were significant. Before the squad was allocated, between 2023 and 2024, the average cycle time was 60 days. After a year of joint work, this number fell to 10 days in the last quarter, reflecting significant gains in agility and efficiency. In addition to the reduction in delivery time, the partnership also brought greater predictability, allowing for confident communication of project delivery dates to stakeholders, which strengthened credibility and internal trust in the operation.

In terms of business performance, the impact was also remarkable. The last quarter (from July to September) recorded the company's best historical result, with revenue and EBITDA record highs for three consecutive months. E-commerce showed consistent growth, with +40% active users, +50% site sessions, and an average ticket nearly 20% higher. The Printi brand also consolidated its position in visibility and reputation indicators, such as share of voice and share of search, and established strategic partnerships with brands like PicPay and Bradesco Seguros, reinforcing its presence and influence in the market.
